Academic Language Week 5 - Vaccinations

Yes, vaccinations should be required for all children.  If children do not get their shots they might test POSITIVE for diseases. The ESTIMATION of kids who don’t get the shot are most likely to get Chicken pox, whooping cough, or measles, etc. Also, when kids don’t get their shot it will spread to other kids in school and that’s not what parents want.  Therefore it’s so much easier to just get the shot. Side effects are nothing everyone gets side effects. For example, when people take aspirin there are side effects, but people still take it to. Why, because it supposed to make you feel better. So why not get the vaccination?

  1. I am thankful that I was vaccinated so I have not tested POSITIVE to a preventable disease.
