Understanding history is really important because it tells us what it was like a long time ago. Also, it helps us understand the humankind a lot better. Without history there would be no technological because we would be always inventing the same thing over and over again, pretty much we would have never learned anything from the person who invented it before us. For example if everyone was to eat hemlock no one would have known it’s poisonous because no one is telling them about it. Therefore it helps us solve problems today. We have to learn from mistakes that were made before us so that we do not repeat them.
